In the construction of building projects, concrete crack resistance is a world-class problem, and the cracking and leaking problem is even considered by the industry as cancer in building projects. It is crucial that the ultimate tensile value of concrete can not be increased. The building life of reinforced concrete structure is mostly related to it. According to the statistical analysis of experts, there are many factors that affect the service life of buildings, just the damage of erosion of structural concrete is more than 60%. Durability research experts believe that all environmental erosion of concrete is caused by cracks or its lack of compaction. If the structural concrete is cracked or not compacted, there will be leakage of liquid and gas, which causes erosion of structural concrete and steel bars, thereby the service life of the building will be reduced. Self-waterproofing of concrete structure is a fundamental solution to the building waterproofing, and improving the crack resistance and impermeability of concrete is the key to cure building seepage and improving the service life of buildings. Practice has proved that the application of WHDF can increase the ultimate tensile value of concrete by 15%-20%, and when the WHDF content is 2% of the amount of cementitious materials , the impermeability grade can reach P12 or above, which effectively improves the crack resistance and impermeability of concrete from the waterproofing treatment technology, it is identified as the international advanced level. Using technology to cure the persistent construction seepage problems is the mission of Tianyi's scientific research and technology team, and it is also the responsibility of Wuhan Institute of Technology researchers to contribute to society.
